Shpoonkle is a web site designed to help Clients find Lawyers for an affordable price, and to help Lawyers expand their practice.

How do I get Clients?
To get clients on Shpoonkle, you need to bid on cases that potential Clients post. Your bid represents the cost of using your services. Once you bid, Clients will select a winner based on many factors (price, location, experience, etc.) If you want to increase your chances of winning, then you need to make sure the price you bid is competitive.
How many cases can I take on?
As many as you can handle. Once you open an account the amount of cases you can take on is only limited by you. Shpoonkle places no restrictions on the number of clients that can you can take on.
What kind of bids can I make?
You have 4 options when bidding. You can choose to provide your contingency rate, hourly rate, a flat rate, or agree to take the case pro-bono. You can bid using any or all of the 4 options.
How often can I bid?
You can bid as often as you like. You can make several bids on 1 case or several bids on different cases. It's up to you.
I created an account but why can’t I access it?
Unlike a client, you don't get instant access to Shpoonkle. Once you open an account we must verify that you are actually a licensed Attorney, and that all of the information you provided is accurate. Once this process is complete you will receive an email that grants you access to Shpoonkle.
What if I don't see any Clients I want to take on?
That's fine. You have an UNLIMITED period to browse around and find the client and case that is right for you.
I made a bid, but I can no longer provide the services I offered, what now?
Not a problem. You can retract your bid at any time. If you are no longer willing or able to provide the services that your bid represented, just retract your bid and you will be removed from the auction.
Can I post my contact information?
No, Our reverse auction process is completely confidential. No contact information can be posted and/or exchanged during the auction during an open case auction.
The client and prospective client can exchange details about the case on their posting and through private messaging. The attorney can tell the client about his/her years of experience and any other professionally relevant information to help the client.
Why is my contact information blocked?
The contact information is blocked to protect both parties and to keep the process confidential.
How do I get the contact information of the winning attorney or the client's information if its blocked during an auction?
After the auction concludes, the winning attorney and client exchange contact information via the process and by email notifications.
I want to stop the email notifications, how do I do this?
It's easy, just select unsubscribe on any notification and they will be discontinued. You can also contact members(at)shpoonkle.com and request to be unsubscribed.
What is the Ask! section?
The Ask! section of Shpoonkle is a place where users can ask legal questions and receive legal advice for free. As an Attorney you have the opportunity to provide people with information about their rights, and also find Clients. If someone has a legal issue that requires more than just an answer to a question, you can help them for free as much as you are willing, and then offer your paid services.
I want to delete my membership, how do I do this?
Membership is free and Shpoonkle is growing everyday. We suggest that you keep the membership and unsubscribe from emails and notifications. Shpoonkle has some big plans and membership has it perks. If you do want to delete the membership please contact members(at)shpoonkle.com
