Only Shpoonkle attorneys or validated legal professionals will have access to see your case details.
All attorneys are validated prior to gaining access to your case.
The validation process checks the legal professional’s identity, active, and good status with the state bar or governing agency in their state.
You can choose the type of legal service provider you want to bid on your case.
You can choose an attorney, paralegal, mediator, or any of the available choices in your country.
Please post organized and detailed information to help get more bids on your case.If you have specific preferences on the legal professional (language, experience, etc.)include this in case post.
3. Find affordable legal help
Once your case is posted, legal professionals in your location and area of law you require will be notified.
Legal Professionals will begin to bid on your case. They will communicate important details about their experience and ability to successfully handle your case.
After viewing the bids placed on your case you have many options:
- You can select one Legal Professional.
- You can wait for more bids from Legal Professionals to compare and contrast.
- When you have reviewed all the bids, make your selection on Shpoonkle.
- Close your case and meet your legal service provider. Remember, There are no obligations for either the client or the Legal Professional.
- If the Legal Professional is not a good match in person, or they have not honored their bid, please feel free to reopen the case and/or choose another bid from your case
- No contact information will be exchanged until the auction completes.
- It is important for you to review the legal professional on the site so that others may benefit from your experience.
1. Create a free account
Once you join, check your email for a confirmation letter.
This email will have your user name and password for your records.
2. Confirm identity and license
If you are an attorney, you can verify this immediately by sending a copy of your bar card to Member Services.
If you are any other legal professional please send us proof of your professional membership to the governing body in your state
Once we receive your information it can take up to 72 hours to validate your license and good standing with your state bar.
You will not have access to clients until you membership has been validated.
Once your membership has been validated, you will get an email of your ability to bid on cases.
3. Registration and Profile
You will get notifications based on the preferences you set at registration and in your profile.
Once a client that meets your set preferences posts a cases you will be notified.
You then can access the case and bid on the legal matter.
The process is competitive and you will see other attorneys notes and bids.
Once the client has selected a winning legal professional you will be notified should you be the winner.
At this point, you will get the clients contact information and they will get yours.
The client will then rate you after meeting with you.
These client ratings will help other clients when they choose winners for future auctions.

Student Accounts are always free.
Students have access to one of the largest collections of legal case briefs and outlines.
Students can network with online resources and potential jobs in the Legal Services Marketplace.
Students can post for internships and jobs on our Job Stop for free.
